After 72 years of continuous operation in downtown St Catharines, Flarity Travel is closing its street level operation on August 31st and undergoing a change.My partner, and brother, John Flarity, after nearly 40 years of telling other people where to go, is taking a well deserved rest, retiring from the business, and taking some time to travel himself. As for myself - well, you can’t get rid of me quite that easily! I will be opening a home based business simply titled "Darcy Flarity and Associates - Travel Consultants". I will be working as an independent contractor for the Carlson Wagonlit office at the Grantham Plaza in North St Catharines. My plan is to work in that location for about 2 hours a day to issue documents and tickets and to meet with those of you who wish to see me personally to plan that special holiday or vacation. The remainder of the time I will be working from a newly renovated home office connected with all the bells and whistles that present day technology offers. I will only be dealing with a select client base and their referrals. I will no longer be dealing with a walk in clientele in order to spend more time planning the holidays of those who are most important to me - you!

In the month of August you will be receiving additional information from me. I will be giving you an unlisted telephone number to reach me; an access code to my new web-site; and some information on new tours and cruises that I will be escorting along with my "Associate", Jim Cooper, of Oh Canada Dinner Show fame.

Although "Change" can be a challenge, I am eagerly looking forward to this new phase in my business life and hope that you will continue to be a part of it with me!
